The Nandagang Wetland is located in the northeast of Cangzhou City, Hebei Province, on the west bank of Bo Sea Bay, with Beijing and Tianjin in the north, Huanghua Port in the south, Cangzhou city in the west, and the Bo Sea in the east. Its geographical position is superior. It covers an area of 7,500 hectares, composed of various ecological elements such as meadows, swamps, water bodies, wild animals and plants, etc. It is the coastal wetland with the highest content of negative oxygen in the world, the content of negative oxygen is as high as 18733/cm?, the coastal wetland with the most species of migratory birds in the world, one of the 85 important wetlands all over the country, member units of the international alliance of Yellow Sea and Bo Sea Wetlands, an important node of bird migration network from East Asia to Australia , national outdoor sports base, provincial nature reserve, hometown of black-winged stilts. It has the reputation of ‘a harbor of soul, a land rich in oxygen, a place for health and happiness, a paradise for bird watching’. Experts have verified that there are 237 species of plants, 291 species of insects, and 268 species of birds in the wetland, including 8 species of national first-class protected birds such as red-crowned cranes and white cranes, and 40 species of national second-class protected birds such as whooper swan and gray cranes. There are 27 species of freshwater fish, and there are a variety of plankton and algae, as well as dozens of terrestrial creatures such as foxes, grass rabbits, snakes and so on.
